The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Board of Trustees approved the CFISD calendar committee’s recommendations for the 2022-2023 instructional calendar during its regularly scheduled meeting on January 13, 2022.
The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD calendar features five teacher work days/school closure make-up days that are also student holidays, inclement weather makeup days, a five-day Thanksgiving holiday (November 21 – November 25, 2022); an 11-day winter break is scheduled for students (December 19, 2022 -January 2, 2023); and a five-day spring break schedule (March 13 to March 17, 2023).

The 12 Cypress-Fairbanks ISD graduation 2022 ceremonies held at the Berry Center from May 24-28 produced a total of 8,868 graduating seniors for the Class of 2022.
Among the 8,868 Graduating Seniors, 5 Graduates are attending prestigious Ivy League colleges and universities, and 199 Seniors also earning associates degree from Lone Star College–CyFair.
In addition to earning their high school diplomas, approximately 199 CFISD seniors from Cypress Lakes, Cypress Park, Cypress Ridge, Cypress Woods, and Langham Creek high schools also graduated with their associate degrees from Lone Star College—CyFair through the CFISD College Academy.
More than 62,000 guests attended the Class of 2022 commencement exercises, while 51,906 others watched the graduation ceremonies through the CFISD Livestream account.
