UNSW Email login guide

Once you have accepted your offer and enrolled at University of New South Wales, you will have access to UNSW email using Microsoft Office 365.

If you’re a new student and have recently accepted your offer and you are unable to access your email, be advised that in order to sign in to your UNSW email account you must be enrolled in at least one subject. After waiting 48 hours you should be able to sign in to your account successfully.

As a new student at UNSW you will receive a student ID when you collect your student card. You use this as your UNSW username with your zPass to access online resources at myUNSW.

Your email address is for example: zID@unsw.edu.au or name@unsw.edu.au (e.g. z1234567@unsw.edu.au or j.smith@unsw.edu.au).

Each student is automatically assigned a UNSW email address and can use the free student email service.
