1. Washington State University Priority Registration begins For Fall 2023 on Monday, April 10, 2023
2. WSU move-in day fall 2023 is the weekend of Saturday, August 12, 2023, and Sunday, August 13, 2023. Early move-in will take place Friday, August 11, 2023. Students can check in any day during the Week of Welcome until Sunday, August 20, 2023, the day before classes begin.
3. WSU Fall 2023 classes start on Monday, August 21, 2023. It is the first day of classes for fall term 2023.
4. Accepting Faculty/Staff tuition fee waiver forms is Monday, August 21, 2023.

6. Sunday, August 27, 2023 is the deadline for term withdrawal from WSU with a full refund (less term withdrawal fee).
7. The last day students may add a course online is Sunday, August 27, 2023. Classes added after this date require appropriate signatures.
8. The deadline for enrollment before the $100 late registration fee is Sunday, August 27, 2023.
9. Friday, September 1, 2023 is the last day to accept Faculty/Staff tuition fee waiver forms to add courses for faculty, staff, and state employees under the tuition waiver according to the WSU academic calendar 2023-2024.
10. The deadline to change from audit to credit is Friday, September 1, 2023.
11. The last day a student may receive a refund for special course fees is Friday, September 1, 2023.
12. Labor Day holiday is Monday, September 4, 2023 on the WSU academic calendar 2023-2024. There are no classes.
13. Thursday, September 7, 2023 is the deadline to pay unpaid tuition, and mandatory fees or a 3% late fee will be assessed.
14. The last day to change enrollment from letter-graded to pass/fail is Friday, September 8, 2023.
15. Friday, September 8, 2023 is the last day to add a course as audit, to change from credit to audit or audit to credit.
16. Tuesday, September 19, 2023 is the deadline for dropping a course without record. (Course withdrawals after this date are recorded on the student’s transcript) on the WSU academic calendar 2023-2024.
17. Tuesday, September 19, 2023, is the deadline to pay unpaid tuition, and mandatory fees or a 5% late fee will be assessed.
18. The last day to file residency application is Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
19. Wednesday, October 4, 2023, is the deadline to pay unpaid tuition, and mandatory fees or a 7% late fee will be assessed.
20. Friday, October 6, 2023 is the deadline to apply for a Fall 2023 Graduate Degree, and late fees are applied after this date.
21. Friday, November 4, 2022 is the recommended deadline to take Final Exams for an advanced degree.
22. Veteran’s Day holiday is Friday, November 10, 2023 on the WSU academic calendar. There are no classes.
23. The deadline for undergraduate and professional students to withdraw from a course is Friday, November 17, 2023. Withdrawals do not reduce tuition charges.
24. The last day to take the final examination for an advanced degree is Friday, November 17, 2023.
25. WSU Thanksgiving break 2023 begins on Monday, November 20, 2023 to Friday, November 24, 2023. Classes resume on Monday, November 27, 2023, after the Washington State University Thanksgiving break.
26. Friday, December 8, 2023, is the last day to apply for a Fall 2023 undergraduate or professional degree or certificate with a $75 late fee. After this date fee increases to $150 according to WSU academic calendar 2023-2024.
27. The deadline to change from pass/fail to letter-graded is Friday, December 8, 2023.
28. Friday, December 8, 2023 is the last day to add a course for this term with appropriate signatures.
29. The deadline for term withdrawal from WSU is Friday, December 8, 2023.
30. The last day of instruction for the fall term is Friday, December 8, 2023.
31. WSU Pullman Commencement/Graduation 2023 is on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
32. WSU Fall 2023 final examinations begin on Monday, December 11, 2023 to Friday, December 15, 2023.
33. WSU winter break 2023 is from Monday, December 18, 2023, to Sunday, December 7, 2024.
34. Final grade submission ends on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
35. WSU Fall 2023 Final grades are available on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, according to the WSU academic calendar 2023-2024. Students may select “Grades” under the academics tab via myWSU. Students may also order an official transcript at transcripts.wsu.edu.

The WSU spring 2023 calendar has important dates and deadlines for the WSU academic calendar 2022-2023.

1. Priority Registration begins For Spring 2023 on Monday, November 7, 2022.
2. Spring 2023 classes begin on Monday, January 9, 2023. The first day of classes for the term.
3. Accepting Faculty/Staff tuition fee waiver forms is on Monday, January 9, 2023.
4. Late registration begins on Monday, January 9, 2023. $25.00 Late Registration Fee Charged.
5. The deadline for term withdrawal from WSU with full refund (less term withdrawal fee) is Sunday, January 15, 2023.
6. Sunday, January 15, 2023 is the last day students may add a course online. Classes added after this date require appropriate signatures.
7. Martin Luther King Jr Day holiday is Monday, January 16, 2023 according to the WSU academic calendar.

17. President’s Day holiday is Monday, February 20, 2023 on the WSU academic calendar. All University offices will remain open.
18. The deadline to pay unpaid tuition and mandatory fees or a 7% late fee will be assessed is Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
19. Mid-term grade submission ends on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Required for students enrolled in undergraduate courses.
20. The deadline to apply for a Graduate Degree is Friday, March 3, 2023. Late fees are applied after this date.
21. Friday, March 3, 2023 is the last day to apply for a Graduate Certificate/Degree. No extensions, no late fees.
22. Friday, March 3, 2023 is the last day to apply for May 2023 undergraduate or professional degree or certificate without incurring a late fee. After this date, an additional fee of $75 is assessed.
23. Priority Registration Begins For Summer 2023 on Monday, March 6, 2023.
24. WSU Spring break 2023 is from Monday, March 13, 2023, to Friday, March 17, 2023.
25. The last day for graduate students to submit the completed Exam Scheduling form (via the portal by department) is Saturday, April 8, 2023.
26. Priority registration begins For fall 2023 on Monday, April 10, 2023.
27. Friday, April 14, 2023 is the deadline for undergraduate and professional students to withdraw from a course. Withdrawals do not reduce tuition charges according to WSU academic calendar 2022-2023.
28. The last day to take the final examination for an advanced degree is Friday, April 21, 2023.
29. The last day of instruction for spring term is Friday, April 28, 2023.
30. Friday, April 28, 2023 is the last day to apply for a May 2023 undergraduate or professional degree or certificate with a $75 late fee. After this date, the late fee increases to $150.

38. Friday, June 9, 2023 is the last day to apply for a May 2023 undergraduate or professional degree or certificate with a $150 late fee.
39. The last day for undergraduate or professional students to complete all requirements to be considered candidates for the May 2023 class is Friday, June 16, 2023. The graduation application will become inactive if conditions are not complete by this date.
