3. The second-Year Orientation is from August 27, 2023, to September 1, 2023.
4. Opening Exercises and Convocation is on August 28, 2023.
5. Upenn Fall 2023 starts on August 29, 2023. It is the first day of classes.
6. Labor Day holiday is (no classes) on September 4, 2023.
7. Indigenous People’s Day (University open; Classes in session) is on October 9, 2023.
8. Upenn Fall break 2023 is from Thursday, October 12, 2023, to Sunday, October 15, 2023. Classes resume on Monday, October 16, 2023. 
9. Family Weekend is from October 27, 2023, to October 29, 2023 (Brown).
10. Upenn Homecoming is on November 4, 2023 (Cornell).
11. The Thursday-Friday class schedule is on Tuesday, November 21, and Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
12. Upenn Thanksgiving Break 2023 is from Thursday, November 23, 2023, to Sunday, November 26, 2023. Classes resume after the Upenn Thanksgiving holidays on Monday, November 27, 2023.
13. The last day of classes is December 11, 2023.
14. Reading Days are December 12, 2023, and December 13, 2023.
15. Final Examinations are from December 14, 2023, to December 21, 2023.
16. Fall Term ends on December 21, 2023.
