1. Georgetown Fall 2023 registration opens for all First Year Undergraduate Admits (except GU-Qatar admits) from Friday, July 28, 2023.
2. Georgetown Move-In day Fall 2023 is on Thursday, August 17, 2023 & Friday, August 18, 2023 for new students. Returning Student Move-In day is Sunday, August 20, 2023. Move-in will take place over 2 days for first-year & new transfer students. Assignment move-in dates are posted to students’ Hoya Housing in August 2023.
3. Georgetown University Fall 2023 Arrival of New Undergraduate Students is on Thursday, August 17, 2023.
4. Arrival of New Undergraduate Students is on Friday, August 18, 2023 and Saturday, August 19, 2023.
5. New Student Academic Convocation is on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 10:00 am.
6. Georgetown Fall 2023 classes start on Wednesday, August 23, 2023; Add/Drop Continues; Classes follow a Wednesday Schedule.
7. Wednesday, August 30, 2023 is the last of Waitlist Run on the Georgetown academic calendar 2023-2024.
8. The last day to claim seat is Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 3:00pm. The Waitlist will be purged after.
9. Fall 2023 Registration Closes for Full Session Classes at 11:59 pm in MyAccess on September 1, 2023. It is also the last day to Drop Without the Grade of “W” for Full Session Classes. Pass/Fail Workflow Closes.
10. Withdraw period for full session courses begins in MyAccess on Saturday, September 2, 2023.
11. Labor Day holiday is Monday, September 4, 2023 – No Classes are Scheduled, University is Closed.
12. Georgetown Fall 2023 classes follow a Monday Schedule on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
13. Georgetown Mid-Semester Holiday is on Monday, October 9, 2023.
14. Parent & Family Weekend is from Friday, October 13, 2023 to Sunday, October 15, 2023.
15. Undergraduate First-Year Student Advisory Grades and Upperclass Student Deficiency Reports are Due in Georgetown Registrar’s Office on Friday, October 13, 2023 according to the Georgetown academic calendar 2023-2024.
16. Thursday, November 16, 2023 is Fall 2023 Full Session Classes: It is the last day to Withdraw and the Last Day for Pass/Fail.
17. Georgetown Thanksgiving break 2023 is from Wednesday, November 22, 2023 to Saturday, November 25, 2023. Classes Resume on Monday, November 27, 2023.
18. Georgetown Fall 2023 classes End on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
19. Study Days are from Wednesday, December 6, 2023 to Thursday, December 7, 2023.
20. Georgetown fall 2023 Final Examinations for fall 2023 are from Friday, December 8, 2023 to Saturday, December 16, 2023.
21. Georgetown winter break 2023 is from Monday, December 18, 2023 to Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
22. Georgetown Fall 2023 grades are due for Graduating Students on Monday, December 18, 2023.
23. Grades are due for Undergraduate Students on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
24. Grades are due for Graduate Students on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

1. GUQatar starts its spring semester with the first day of classes on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
2. The final waitlist for GU-Qatar concludes on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
3. Georgetown Spring 2024 Classes at the main campus start on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. During this time, Add/Drop continues, and classes follow a Monday Schedule. The Pass/Fail Workflow opens at 3:45 pm.
4. The waitlist for Qatar is purged, and students have until the end of Add/Drop to enroll in any available seats on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
5. Martin Luther King Day is on Monday, January 15, 2024.
6. The last day the waitlist will run is on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. The last day for students to claim a seat is Thursday, January 18. The waitlist will be purged on January 18 at 4 p.m.
7. Friday, January 19, 2024, marks the last day for late registration and the last day to drop without the grade of W. Add/Drop ends on this day.
8. President’s Day is observed on Monday, February 19, 2024.
9. Classes follow the Monday schedule on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
10. Georgetown Spring Break 2024 is from Saturday, March 2, 2024, to Sunday, March 10, 2024. Classes resume on Monday, March 11, 2024.
11. Georgetown Easter Break 2024 is observed from Thursday, March 28, 2024, to Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Classes resume on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
12. The last day to withdraw and the last day for Pass/Fail for Spring 2024 full session classes is Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
13. GU-Q Study Days are on Saturday, April 27, 2024, and Sunday, April 28, 2024.
14. Spring 2024 Classes end on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
15. Study Days are on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, and Thursday, May 2, 2024.
16. Final Examinations take place from Friday, May 3, 2024, to Saturday, May 11, 2024.
17. Spring 2024 Grades are due for graduating students on Monday, May 13, 2024. Grades are due for undergraduate students on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
18. Georgetown Graduation 2024 and Commencement Weekend, including Senior Convocation, is on Thursday, May 16, 2024, and Saturday, May 18, 2024.
19. Grades are due for graduate students on Monday, May 20, 2024.
