6. The last day to drop courses (without a “w” grade) is Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
7. The last day for returning classified graduate students to file for spring readmission is Sunday, October 1, 2023.
8. The final deadline to drop courses (with a “w” grade) is Monday, October 30, 2023.
9. The last day for instructors to submit “I” removal grades for spring and summer to the Office of the Registrar is Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

1. The spring admission application final deadline for undergraduate students is on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
2. The spring admission application priority deadline for undergraduate students; the final deadline for second bachelor’s degree students and international undergraduate students is on Thursday, September 1, 2023.
3. The Spring semester begins on Monday, January 1, 2024, with the New Year’s Day holiday.
4. The Fall admission application priority deadline for undergraduate students, and the final deadline for second bachelor’s degree students and international undergraduate students, is on Friday, January 5, 2024.
5. UH Manoa Spring 2024 classes start on Monday, January 8, 2024.
6. There will be a holiday on Monday, January 15, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. There are no classes.
7. The last day to register, add courses, or change grade options is Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
8. Undergraduates who intend to graduate in the spring must file their application for graduation by Friday, January 26, 2024.
9. The last day to drop courses without receiving a “w” grade is Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
10. A holiday is observed on Monday, February 19, 2024, for Presidents’ Day. There are no classes.
11. The final deadline for Fall admission applications for undergraduate students is Wednesday, March 1, 2024.
12. Returning classified graduate students looking to file for summer readmission must do so by Wednesday, March 1, 2024.
13. UH Manoa Spring Break 2024 is from Monday, March 18, 2024, to Friday, March 22, 2024.
14. The final deadline to drop courses with a “w” grade is Friday, March 22, 2024.
15. On Monday, March 26, 2024, there is a holiday for Kūhiō Day. There are no classes.
16. Theses and dissertations are due in the Graduate Division, and there is also a holiday for Good Friday (non-instructional day) on Friday, March 29, 2024.
17. Instructors must submit “I” removal grades for fall to the Office of the Registrar by Monday, April 1, 2024. It is also the last day to apply for credit by examination for the spring semester.
