Baruch Academic Calendar 2023-2024: Important Dates

Baruch College operates on a semester system for the fall and spring terms. However, it also offers a winter session and a summer session, which are both shorter terms than the fall and spring semesters.

Baruch academic calendar fall 2023

Baruch Fall term 2023 starts from August 25, 2023 to December 20, 2023. Below are other important dates and deadlines on the Baruch academic calendar 2023-2024.

1. August 24 2023 is the last day to drop for 100% tuition refund.
2. Baruch Fall 2023 classes start on August 25, 2023. It is the first day of classes for the fall 2023 semester. It is also the begining of the fall semester.
3. Late registration begins on August 25, 2023. Late registration fee of $25 and Change of program fee of $18 begins the same day.
4. The last day to add a course and drop for 75% tuition refund is August 31 2023. It is also the last day to register for an Internship and Independent Study.
5. Grade of WD is assigned to students who officially drop a course on September 1, 2023.
6. Labor day holiday is September 4, 2023. There are no classes.
7. The last day to drop for 50% tuition refund is September 7, 2023.
8. The last day to drop for a 25% tuition refund is September 14 2023. It is also the last day to Change or Declare a Major/Minor to be effective Fall 2023 Census date, and the last day to file Pass/Fail (WSAS-Undergrad).
9. September 15, 2023 is the last day to apply for Fall 2023 graduation.
10. WN Grades are assigned September September 15, 2023. Grade of “W” is assigned to students who officially withdraw from a course.
11. October 17, 2023 is the last day of classes for Seven-Week I.
12. Fall 2023 second seven weeks session classes begin on October 18, 2023.
13. December 11, 2023 is the last day to apply/cancel P/NC option (Graduate).
14. December 11, 2023 is the last day to withdraw from a course with a grade of “W”. It is also the last day to apply/cancel P/NC option (Graduate) on the Baruch academic calendar 2023-2024.
15. December 13, 2023 is the last day of classes.
16. Reading Day is December 12, 2023, and December 13, 2023. 
17. Final Examinations is from December 14, 2023, to December 20, 2023.
18. Fall term ends on December 20, 2023, according to the Baruch academic calendar 2023-2024.

Baruch academic calendar winter 2024

Baruch Winter term 2023 starts from January 3 2023 to January 24, 2023. Below are other important dates and deadlines on the Baruch academic calendar 2023.

1. Winter 2023 registration begins on October 31, 2022.
2. The last day to drop for 100% tuition refund is January 2, 2023. It is also the last day to file Permit request for Winter Session College Closed.
3. Winter Session classes begin on January 3, 2023.
4. January 3, 2023 is the last day to drop for 50% tuition refund.
5. The last day to add a course is January 3, 2023.
6. Grade of WD is assigned to students who officially drop a course on January 5, 2023.
7. WN Grades Assigned on January 6, 2023. Grade of W is assigned to students who officially withdraw from a course.
8. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday is January 16, 2023.
9. January 23 2023 is the last day to withdraw from a course with a grade of W.
10. Final Examinations for Winter Session is on January 24, 2023.
11. Winter Session 2023 ends on January 24, 2023.
12. Final grade submission deadline is January 27, 2023.

Baruch academic calendar spring 2024

 Baruch Spring term 2024 starts from January 28 2024 to May 24, 2024. Below are other important dates and deadlines on the Baruch academic calendar 2024.

1. Spring 2023 registration begins on October 31, 2022.
2. The last day to drop for 100% tuition refund is January 24, 2023. It is the last day to file Permit request in CUNYfirst.
3. Baruch Spring Term 2023 begins on January 25, 2023.
4. Spring classes begin on January 25, 2023.
5. January 31, 2023 is the last day to add a course.
6. The last day to drop for 75% tuition refund is January 31, 2023. Financial Aid Certification Enrollment Status Date is January 31, 2023.
7. Grade of WD is assigned to students who officially drop a course on February 1, 2023.
8. February 2, 2023, is the last day to drop for 50% tuition refund.
9. Baruch College is closed. No classes are scheduled from February 12, 2023 to February 13, 2023.
10. February 14, 2023 is the last day to drop for 25% tuition refund. It is also the last day to file Pass/Fail (WSAS-Undergrad) and the last day to change or declare a major/minor to be effective for Spring 2023.
11. WN Grades are assigned on February 15, 2023. Grade of “W” is assigned to students who officially drop a course.
12. College is closed on February 20, 2023. No classes are scheduled.
13. Classes follow a Monday schedule on February 21, 2023.
14. On February 24, 2023, WA Grades Assigned – Immunization non-compliance.
15. Baruch Spring break 2023 is from April 5, 2023 to April 13, 2023.
16. Reading day is from May 12, 2023 to May 13, 2023.
17. May 16, 2023 is the last day to drop a course with a grade of “W”.
18. Final Examination is from May 17 to May 23 2023.
19. Spring term ends on May 23 2023.
20. Final Grade Submission Deadline is May 26, 2023.
