Here are the important dates and deadlines on the BMCC academic calendar calendar for winter 2024.

1. Early Advisement and Registration for Winter/Spring 2024 begin for continuing and readmit students on Monday, November 6, 2023.
2. Registration begins for Winter/Spring 2024 for non-degree (Including ePermit) students on Monday, November 20, 2023.
3. Early Advisement and Registration for Winter/Spring 2024 commence for incoming freshman and transfer students on Monday, November 27, 2023.
4. Tuesday, December 26, 2023, is the last day to apply for ePermit for the Winter Session.
5. Monday, January 1, 2024, marks the deadline to complete your admission application to save your seat, the last day to drop with a 100% tuition refund, and the college is closed.
6. Tuesday, January 2, 2024, is the last day to add a class (no late registration after this date), the last day to change a class, classes begin (start of Winter session), a fee of $18 is charged per day for changing classes once the semester begins, and the last day to drop with a 50% tuition refund.
7. Wednesday, January 3, 2024, marks the beginning of the Course Withdrawal Drop (WD) period. A grade of “WD” is assigned to students who officially drop a class, and Verification of Enrollment Rosters is available to faculty.
8. Thursday, January 4, 2024, is the deadline for Verification of Enrollment Rosters from faculty, the end of the Course Withdrawal Drop (WD) period, and the last day to drop without the grade of “W.” Additionally, it is the last day to drop with a 25% tuition refund.
9. Friday, January 5, 2024, sees the assignment of “WN” Grades and the beginning of the course withdrawal period (A grade of “W” is assigned to students who officially drop a class).
10. Monday, January 15, 2024, is the deadline to accept our offer of admission to let us know if you are coming to BMCC, the last day to apply for Winter 2024 Graduation, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, with the college closed and no classes.
11. Spring Registration/Advisement assistance will be available Online Only from January 16 to 19, Tuesday to Friday.
12. Wednesday, January 17, 2024, is the last day to file a reinstatement appeal for dismissed students.
13. Sunday, January 21, 2024, sees the “WN” Grade Reversal Form turned off at 11:59 p.m.
14. Spring Registration/Advisement assistance will be available In-Person Only from January 22 to 26, Monday to Friday.
15. Monday, January 22, 2024, is the last day to opt for an “NC” grade, the last day to withdraw with a grade of “W,” and the last day of classes (including final examinations).
16. Friday, January 26, 2024, is the Grade Submission Deadline.

11. Advisement and change of classes assistance will be available both Online and In-Person from January 29 to February 2, Monday to Friday.
12. Wednesday, January 31, 2024, is the last day to change a class and the last day to drop with a 75% tuition refund.
13. Thursday, February 1, 2024, is the Priority Deadline for CUNY Transfer Application, and the Course Withdrawal Drop (WD) period begins. A grade of “WD” is assigned to students who officially drop a class.
14. Verification of Enrollment Rosters is available to faculty starting on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
15. Wednesday, February 7, 2024, is the last day to drop with a 50% tuition refund.
16. Monday, February 12, 2024, is Lincoln’s Birthday Observed, and the college is closed with no classes.
17. Wednesday, February 14, 2024, marks the end of the Course Withdrawal Drop (WD) period and the last day to drop without the grade of “W.” It is also the last day to change a major to be effective for Spring 2024 and the last day to drop with a 25% tuition refund. Verification of Enrollment Rosters is due from faculty.
18. “WN” Grades are assigned on Thursday, February 15, 2024, and the Course withdrawal period begins (A grade of “W” is assigned to students who officially drop a class). Additionally, 100% Tuition obligation for course withdrawal is in effect.
19. “WN” Grades Reversal Form is turned on at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024.
20. Monday, February 19, 2024, is President’s Day, and the college is closed with no classes.
21. Classes follow Monday schedule on Thursday, February 22, 2024, and Saturday, February 24, 2024, is the last day to apply for Spring 2024 Graduation.
22. “WA” Grades are assigned – Immunization non-compliance on Saturday, February 24, 2024.
23. Classes follow Monday schedule on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
24. There are No Classes are Scheduled from Friday, March 29 to Sunday, March 31, 2024, due to Easter Break.
25. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, is the last day to submit a financial aid SAP appeal for Spring 2024.
26. Student Faculty Evaluations are available on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
27. Early Advisement and Registration begin for Summer and Fall 2024 on Monday, April 15, 2024, according to BMCC academic calendar 2024-2025.
28. BMCC Spring Break 2024 takes place from Monday, April 22 to Tuesday, April 30, 2024. There are no classes, but college offices are open. Classes resume on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
29. “WN” Grade Reversal Form is turned off at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
30. Wednesday, May 15, 2024, is the deadline for Student Faculty Evaluations submission, the last day to opt for an “NC” grade, the grade lapse of INC to FIN from Fall 2023 and Winter 2024, and the last day to withdraw with a grade of “W.” It is also the last day of classes before final examination.
31. Grade Rosters are available to Faculty at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
32. Final Examinations take place from Thursday, May 16, 2024 to Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
33. Sunday, May 26, 2024, is the Grade Submission Deadline.
34. Monday, May 27, 2024, is Memorial Day, and the college is closed.
35. Honors Convocation (Tentative) is on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
36. Commencement (Tentative) takes place on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
