Baylor Academic Calendar 2023-2024: Important Dates

Baylor academic calendar 2023-2024 contains class schedules, holiday schedules, exam schedules, registration dates, add/drop dates, semester breaks, other important dates, and deadlines.

3. Fall 2023 Registration through BearWeb is from April 5, 2023, to April 21, 2023.
4. Baylor move-in day 2023 is from Sunday, August 13 at 1 pm to Sunday, August 20, 2023. Early Move-In (Sign-up through My Housing Portal required) is from Sunday, August 13 at 1 pm – Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
5. Baylor fall 2023 classes start on Monday, August 21, 2023. The first class day of the Fall 2023 semester.
6. Baylor Truett Convocation is on August 22, 2023.
7. August 23, 2023, is the last day for graduating seniors to file for December graduation with their respective Dean’s Offices.
8. The last day for credit by examination in enrolled courses is August 23, 2023.
9. August 25, 2023, is the last day to register or add classes for the Fall 2023 Semester.
10. Labor Day holiday is September 4, 2023, according to the Baylor holiday schedule 2023 – Baylor University Holiday (no classes). Residence halls remain open.
11. According to the Balor fall 2023 class schedule, Students that withdraw from the University after September 6, 2023, will receive a notation of W (withdrawal) on their transcript in all classes (through October 31).
12. Classes dropped after September 6, 2023, will be recorded as W (withdrawal) on the transcript (through October 31).
13. September 6, 2023, is the last day to drop a Fall 2023 classes without advisor approval.
14. Baylor Family Weekend 2023 is on September 15, 2023, and September 16, 2023.
15. The Academic Progress Campaign reporting period begins for students with substandard academic performance.
16. Baylor Fall Break 2023 is from October 13, 2023 to October 15, 2023. Classes resume on October 16, 2023.
17. Baylor Homecoming 2023 is from October 27, 2023, to October 28, 2023.
18. The last day to drop a class or withdraw from the Fall 2023 semester is October 31, 2023.
19. Baylor Thanksgiving Break 2023 is from November 18, 2023, to November 26, 2023. Classes resume on November 27, 2023.
20. December 6, 2023, is the last class day for the Fall 2023 semester, according to the Baylor academic calendar 2023-2024.
21. Study Day is December 7, 2023.
22. Baylor Fall 2023 Final Exams are from December 8, 2023, to December 13, 2023.
23. December 13, 2023, is the last day for completion of Self-paced online courses (SPOCS) to apply toward December graduation.

25. Residence halls close for the fall semester at 12:00 p.m on December 14, 2023.

28. Baylor Truett’s Commencement is on December 15, 2023.

30. Baylor Fall 2023 grades are due at 5:00 p.m on December 18, 2023, for all remaining students.

1. The last day to drop a Spring 2024 Wintermester course without advisor approval is December 26, 2023.
2. The last day to register or add a class for Spring 2024 Wintermester is also on December 26, 2023.
3. Spring 2024 Wintermester begins on December 27, 2023.
4. New Year’s Day Holiday is observed on Monday, January 1, 2024, and it coincides with Wintermester.
5. January 8, 2024, marks the last day to drop a class or withdraw from the Spring 2024 Wintermester.
6. Spring 2024 Wintermester ends with exams on January 13, 2024.
7. January 13, 2024, serves as the last class day and final examinations for the Spring 2024 Wintermester.
8. Grades for Spring 2024 Wintermester are due at 12:00 noon on January 15, 2024.
9. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday is observed on January 15, 2024.
10. January 15, 2024, is also designated as Martin Luther King, Jr. Day University Holiday.
11. Truett Spring 2024 Convocation is scheduled for January 16, 2024.
12. The first class day of the Spring 2024 semester is January 16, 2024.
13. Acording to Baylor academic calendar 2023-2024, January 22, 2024, is the last day to register or add a class for the Spring 2024 semester.
14. January 31, 2024, is the last day to drop a class or withdraw without a “W” from the Spring 2024 semester.
15. Students who drop a course or withdraw from the University after January 31, 2024, for Spring 2024 will receive a notation of W (Withdrawal) on their transcript in all classes (through April 3rd).
16. The deadline for students to submit transcripts for inclusion in registration time-ticket assignments for Summer/Fall 2024 is on February 28, 2024.
17. Baylor Spring Break 2024 is scheduled from March 2, 2024, to March 10, 2024.
18. April 3, 2024, is the last day to drop a class or withdraw from the Spring 2024 semester.
19. Fall 2024 Early registration through BearWeb (tentative dates) is set for April 4 – 19, 2024, according to the Baylor academic calendar 2024-2025.
20. Diadeloso (Also Total Eclipse Day!) is scheduled for April 8, 2024.
21. Instructional Monday is on April 9, 2024.
22. May 2, 2024, is the last class day for the Spring 2024 semester.
23. Study Day is designated for May 3, 2024.
