Texas a&m academic calendar fall 2021

TAMU academic calendar fall semester 2021 starts from Monday, August 30 2021 to Friday, December 15, 2021.

  1. August 27 2021 is the Last day to register for Tamu fall semester classes.
  2. First day of fall semester classes is on Monday, August 30 2021.
  3. Undergraduate change of curriculum period begins on August 30 2021.
  4. September 03, 2021 is last day for adding/dropping courses for the fall semester.
  5. Friday, September 24 2021 is the Undergraduate deadline to submit a request for change of curriculum.
  6. Undergraduate degree plan approval deadline is Thursday September 30, 2021.
  7. Mid-semester grades due on Monday, October 18, 12 p.m. (noon).
  8. Bonfire 1999 Remembrance Day 2021 is on Thursday, November 18.
  9. Friday November 19 2021 is the last day for all students to drop courses with no penalty (Q-drop).
  10. November 19 2021 is the deadline to change KINE 198/199 Grade Type for fall 2021 and to to officially withdraw from the University.
  11. Last day to apply for all degrees to be awarded in December is Wednesday December 08 2021.
  12. Fall semester final examinations for all TAMU students is from December 13 2021 to December 15 2021.
  13. Friday, December 17 , 5 p.m., is the last day for December undergraduate degree candidates to apply for Tuition Rebate in TAMU Howdy Portal.

Texas a&m move-in day fall 2021

Check-In for the fall 2021 semester is by appointment (Corps residents excluded) and scheduled over the course of several days beginning August 21 for residence halls and August 18 for White Creek Apartments. There is no early move-in option for the Fall 2021 semester.

Beginning July 1, you must complete the online Annual Housing Orientation before getting your room or apartment key. All students must be checked in by August 29.

You will schedule your Check-In Appointment in myHousing Portal. Whether you are a freshman or continuing student, ensure you complete the Annual Housing Orientation, also accessed in myHousing Portal before scheduling your Check-In Appointment.

At your check-in appointment, which takes place in person, you will check in to your hall or apartment and receive your key. You will need to bring your TAMU ID or another photo ID to check-in.

Once you have checked in, you can move your belongings into your room/apartment right then, or at another time that is convenient to you.

You don’t have to move all your belongings in during your appointment time. You will receive details on where your specific check-in will take place in early August. Constantly check the TAMU academic calendar to see if there are any changes.

If you have not yet received your TAMU ID and your photo has been approved, you should receive it at your hall/apartment check-in appointment. If your photo has not been approved, you will receive a temporary access card that will grant you entrance to your hall/apartment building.

TAMU academic calendar spring 2022

TAMU academic calendar Spring semester 2022 starts from Tuesday, January 18 2022 to Tuesday, May 10 2022.

  1. Undergraduate change of curriculum period begins on January 11, 2022.
  2. January 14, 2022 is the Last day to register for Tamu spring semester classes.
  3. First day of Spring semester classes is on Tuesday, January 18 2022.
  4. January 24, 2022 is last day for adding/dropping courses for the Spring semester.
  5. Wednesday, February 02 2022, is Spring official census date.
  6. Monday, February 14 2022 is the Undergraduate deadline to submit a request for change of curriculum.
  7. Mid-semester grades due on Monday, March 7, 2022. 12 p.m. (noon).
  8. Spring Break is from Monday, March 14 – Friday March 18 2022.
  9. Tuesday April 19 2022 is the last day for all students to drop courses with no penalty (Q-drop).
  10. April 19 2022 is the deadline to change KINE 198/199 Grade Type for Spring 2022 and to to officially withdraw from the University.
  11. Last day to apply for all degrees to be awarded in May is May 03 2022.
  12. Last day of spring semester classes is Tuesday May 03, 2022,
  13. Spring semester final examinations for all TAMU students is from May 05 2022 to May 10 2022.
  14. Friday, May 13 , 5 p.m., is the last day for May undergraduate degree candidates to apply for Tuition Rebate in TAMU Howdy.
  15. Monday, May 16 2022, 12 p.m. (noon) – Final grades for all students due to the Office of the Registrar. Grades will be available for viewing in Howdy after 5 p.m.

TAMU academic calendar summer/term 2022

TAMU academic calendar Summer semester and term 2022 starts from Tuesday May 31 2022 to Wednesday August 10 2022.

  1. Tuesday May 31 2022, is the first day of first term and 10-week semester classes.
  2. The last day for adding/dropping courses for the first term and 10-week semester Friday, June 03 2022.
  3. Friday June 03 2022, is Summer first term and 10-week official census date.
  4. Monday, June 20 2022 is the deadline for all students to drop courses with no penalty (Q-drop) for the first term; change KINE 198/199 Grade Type for the first term; and to officially withdraw from the University for the first term.
  5. Undergraduate deadline to submit a request for change of curriculum is Monday June 27 2022.
  6. Friday, July 01 2022 is the last day of first summer term classes.
  7. Summer I term final examinations for all students is on Tuesday, July 05 2022.
  8. Tuesday, July 05, is the last day to register for second term classes.
  9. Wednesday, July 06, is the first day of second term classes.
  10. July 08 12 p.m. (noon), is first term final grades due to the Office of the Registrar.
  11. Monday, July 11 2022, is the last day for adding/dropping courses for the second term. Same day is the TAMU Summer second term official census date.
  12. Wednesday, July 20 2022, is the deadline for all students to drop courses with no penalty (Q-drop) for the 10-week semester. Same day is the deadline to officially withdraw from the University for the 10-week semester.
  13. Tuesday, July 26 2022 is the deadline for all students to drop courses with no penalty (Q-drop) for the second term; change KINE 198/199 Grade Type for the second term; and to officially withdraw from the University for the second term.
  14. Monday, August 08 2022 is the last day of second summer term and 10-week classes. Same day is the deadline to apply for all degrees to be awarded in August.
  15. Summer II term & 10-week final examinations for all TAMU students is from Tuesday, August 09 – Wednesday, August 10 2022.
  16. Final grades for second term and 10-week semester due to the Office of the Registrar on Monday, August 15 2022, 12 p.m. (noon).

TAMU final exam schedule

All semester examinations are to be given in accordance with the schedule published by the Office of the Registrar on the TAMU academic calendar.

The final examination shall be designed to cover a period not to exceed two hours. Courses carrying one credit hour of theory or practice shall have one hour examinations given during the last class period.

When a student is scheduled for three final examinations in one day, the student may request rescheduling of one of the examinations through his/her dean.

The dean, department head, and faculty member will make every effort to accommodate the student when such a request is made.

Final examinations for classes meeting at times other than those listed above in the tamu academic calendar will be scheduled during the week of finals at a time agreed upon by the faculty member and students.

All students who are co-enrolled at other institutions should compare the finals schedules at those institutions with their TAMU finals and discuss potential conflicts with their professors well in advance of the scheduled exams.
