2. Fall 2023 Pass One Appointment Begin for Continuing Students from Monday, May 15, 2023, to Friday, May 26, 2023.
3. Fall 2023 Open Registration Begins for Continuing Students is Saturday, May 27, 2023.
4. Open Registration for Continuing Students is from Saturday, May 27, to Friday, June 9, 2023.
5. Pass One Appointment Begin for New Students from Monday, July 31, 2023, to Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
6. Pass One Open Registration for New Students is from Thursday, August 17, to Sunday, August 20, 2023.
7. Fall 2023 Open Registration is from Saturday, September 2, to Thursday, September 14, 2023.
8. The student Fee Payment Deadline is Friday, September 15, 2023.
9. Fall 2023 Registration Freeze Begins on Friday, September 15, at 12 am, to Wednesday, September 20, 2023, by 5:59 am.
10. Fall 2023 Schedule Adjustment Begins on Wednesday, September 20, at 6 am, to Wednesday, October 25, 2023, by 11:59 pm.
11. UC Davis Fall 2023 quarter begins on Monday, September 25, 2023.
12. UC Davis Fall 2023 classes start on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
13. The student Late Payment Deadline is Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
14. The 10th Day of Instruction is Tuesday, October 10, 2023. It is the last day to:
    • Make payment to meet the deadline. Students with unpaid balances after the 10th day of instruction will have their registration administratively withdrawn, all courses dropped and fees for the first 10 days of instruction will be charged to the student account using the Schedule of Refunds.
    • Drop designated 10–day–drop courses.
    • File petitions to change from full–time to part–time status.
    • File petitions to declare a minor with the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the College of Letters and Science Dean’s Office.
    • File Planned Educational Leave Program (PELP) petition.
15. The 12th Day of Instruction is Thursday, October 12, 2023. It is the last day:
    • For wait lists.
    • To add courses.
16. The 20th Day of Instruction is Tuesday, October 24, 2023. It is the last day to:
    • Drop designated 20–day–drop courses.
    • File for course materials fee waiver.
17. The 25th Day of Instruction is Tuesday, October 31, 2023. It is the last day to:
    • Opt for P/NP or S/U grading.
    • Change units of a variable–unit course.
